SYNOPSIS

The year is 1954.

Robbie hears the whistle shrieking, he looks up, suddenly there she is rounding the bend, steam trailing behind her. Robbie climbs aboard, he sits back and unrolls his “Dan Dare”, the world passes by with the click-clack of the tracks. He settles in for the journey.

The train pulls into a station. A woman with a long silver fur stole drifts along the aisle. Gloria sits opposite Robbie. She is visiting a friend, the one who bought her the fur. He likes her; he tells her he is visiting his father for “Father’s Day”. Finally they arrive at the last stop. Jack steps out from the shadows. Steam blows high above the stack.
